Which hydrogen inhaler should you choose?

There is no official "best" hydrogen inhalation machine. What you can compare is the generation method, flow and concentration, water requirements, availability in Europe, and what happens after you buy. Buyers most often weigh Lita Air against Lourdes Hydrofix, Suisonia and generic PEM units from online marketplaces. Details about other manufacturers' products come from their own websites as of July 2026 and may have changed since.

The criteria

These matter more than the brand.

Generation method

PEM electrolysis with titanium electrodes separates hydrogen from oxygen as the gas is produced. Simpler membranes can mean lower purity and a shorter lifespan.

Concentration

Either a controlled, low concentration (Lita Air: approx. 3-4%) or high flow at close to 100% hydrogen. The latter asks far more of whoever handles it, since hydrogen in the wrong proportions is flammable.

Availability and support

Is the device sold with support, warranty, returns and spare parts where you live, or is it a direct import with none of that?

Total cost

Count water, consumable parts and service over time on top of the purchase price.

The devices

Lita Air, Lourdes Hydrofix, Suisonia and the marketplace units.

Lita Air

Hydrogen inhalation device designed in Japan, with titanium PEM electrolysis, approx. 100 ml/min and a controlled 3-4% concentration. Lita Air is sold in Sweden and the EU by I regenerate (iregenerate.se) in Stockholm for 2 490 € incl. VAT, with a 30-day return window and a trial session in Stockholm. Warranty, spare parts and support are handled from Sweden. You can try it before you buy or read more on the product page.

Lourdes Hydrofix

Japanese hybrid device for both hydrogen water and inhalation, sold mainly through its US distributor (around 2,600 USD per the distributor's site, July 2026). As far as we can see there is no established EU distribution, so expect a direct import, currency conversion, shipping and support from across the Atlantic.

Suisonia

Japanese inhalation device used mainly in salons and clinics in Japan. According to Suisonia's Japanese distributors, sales of new units ended in June 2024, while cartridges and servicing are stated to continue. Verify current status directly with the maker. As far as we can see, there is no established consumer distribution in the EU.

Generic PEM units

Online marketplaces carry plenty of devices with unclear specifications, unknown purity and no support. The price can be tempting, but before you order, check flow, concentration, materials and what happens if the unit fails.

This comparison covers product facts and availability, not health effects. No hydrogen inhaler is a medical device or a treatment in the EU, regardless of manufacturer.

Common questions
